On Tuesday 28th March The Vale School Council helped to prepare the ground and then sow wildflower seeds on The Gallops.
The children were supported by Anthony & Emily (Park Rangers) who spoke to the children about preparing the ground and then sprinkling the seed around the area. Anthony says the flowers should be appearing around late May – early June. The School Council will meet again in the Summer to see which flowers have grown.

This area offers great opportunities for wildlife and pollinating insects.
