FVRA has received information from Adur & Worthing Council relating to the future of Tenants Hill. This information has been released publicly and has been widely covered in both local and national press over the last couple of days.

As has been reported, FVRA understands that the council have been approached by Sussex Wildlife Trust regarding the possibility of the trust purchasing Tenants Hill - a site adjacent to the National Trust managed Cissbury Ring - with a view to increasing biodiversity and restoring the area as chalk grassland.

We encourage all residents of Findon Valley to review the information that the council have published on their website here:

The council have organised an engagement event, taking place at the Findon Valley Free Church on Monday 15th September from 6.30pm to 8.00pm, where residents will have an opportunity to find out more about this proposal, and ask any questions. Sussex Wildlife Trust are in attendance.

FVRA representatives will also be in attendance, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to better understand this proposal. The event itself is limited to 80 attendees. Should you wish to attend, we have been advised you must request a ticket via the following link:

FVRA will provide an update to residents after the event.
