Today (8th February) FVRA joined the school council to litter pick on The Gallops. School Council reps and some of the Eco Warriors teamed up with FVRA and Graeme Brooker, our Park Ranger, to do a litter pick. It was such a lovely afternoon.
The children were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and polite – a real credit to the school. As well as general rubbish the children found an old radio, cycle helmet, metal tray and toothbrush! Several members of the public thanked the children for helping improve the local environment.
The children kindly created anti-litter posters which will soon be appearing around the local area. There were some great designs.
