SECURITY ALERT

We have had a report from a resident that there has been some criminal activity in the Valley.

An elderly resident had a piece of jewellery stolen from him by a woman who approached him in the street and another resident has reported that she was called on by two people who identified themselves as police officers. We have also heard reports of parcels being stolen from doorsteps.

All these incidents have been reported to the Police and our local PCSO, Ed Mitchell, is dealing with them.

Please be aware that criminals will take advantage of open doors and windows in this hot weather, stay alert and report any suspicious behaviour directly to the Police on 111 or call 999 if you see a crime being committed or are a victim of crime.
