FVRA hosted an informative and important Prostate Cancer Awareness session, welcoming Brian Holden, Chairman and Lance Allen, Secretary of PCaSO, the Prostate Cancer Support Charity.
Those who attended were able to hear first hand the importance of early testing and treatment and given the opportunity to ask questions.
This was also our chance to formally pledge our £1000 donation to PCaSO raised from our recent FV5K event. PCaSo does not receive any funding from the government and so this money will help to fund the valuable work they do to support men affected by this illness.
