Gas Works Update

The gas main works at Marshall Avenue/A24 junction have been completed a whole week ahead of schedule! Well done to Jim and his I&G Team. Reinstatement works will continue today and hopefully the traffic lights will be down for the weekend.

We have seen an increase in rat running in Central Avenue, Maytree and Limetree during the works, which has been not only disappointing but dangerous. Please respect our residential roads and keep your speed down, the MAXIMUM is 30 miles per hour on these roads, and remember that it is the school holidays and there may be children playing. Keep our Valley roads safe for our community!
