The sun is shining (just about!), the birds are singing, school's out and the kids are already starting to moan about being bored...it can only mean one thing - Summer is here!
To celebrate the arrival of summer in Findon Valley, we've launched the Findon Valley Residents' Association 'Passport to Summer' activity book! This 8 page booklet is designed to give children and their families the opportunity to explore the Valley and all it has to offer.
Go on a nature tail on Cissbury Fields - can you spot all the flowers and wildlife?
Visit the Library and sign up for the Marvellous Makers challenge - can you write or draw a review of your favourite book?
Take a walk up to the Gallops Playground and take a photo playing - why not design your own playground! What would you put in it?
Play I-spy on Kings Parade - can you spot all of the clues?
Collect FVRA stickers by visiting all our events over the summer - can you collect them all?
Sally the Seagull's friends have gone missing in the Valley - can you find them for her?
We're hosting a Mini Mile for children on 8th September - can you colour in the picture for every mile you run in practice?
You can pick up copies of the Passport to Summer at the July Artisan Market at Lime Tree Surgery Car Park on Sunday 28th July.
If you didn't make it to the market, and you live in Findon Valley, you can also request a copy here and we'll post it through your letter box over the next few days.
